Nachos with Meat

Ingredients
  • tortilla chips – 200 g
  • ground beef – 400 g
  • cheddar – 200 g
  • tomato sauce – 150 ml
  • red onion – 1 pc
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • paprika – 1 tsp
  • cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • jalapeño – optional
Preparation
  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion and garlic.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until done, breaking it up finely.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
  4. Add the tomato sauce and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  5. Arrange the nachos on a baking tray.
  6. Spread the meat evenly on top.
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheddar and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
  8. Add jalapeño and serve immediately.
