Ingredients
  • nachos (tortilla chips)
  • cheddar
  • mozzarella
  • fresh milk
  • butter
  • flour
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • red pepper
  • jalapeño (optional)
Preparation
  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the flour (make a light roux).
  2. Gradually add the fresh milk, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the grated cheddar and mozzarella and stir until melted.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper.
  5. Arrange the nachos on a tray or plate.
  6. Pour generously with the cheese sauce.
  7. Top with jalapeño if desired. Serve immediately.
