Tricolor Cake

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1.50 cups flour type 500
  • 1.50 cups sugar
  • 7 eggs
Preparation
  1. Beat 4 yolks and 3 whole eggs with 1 cup sugar, 8 tbsp oil, and 1 cup flour mixed with baking soda. Divide into two parts, one slightly larger than the other.
  2. Add cocoa powder to the smaller portion. Whip 4 egg whites until stiff and mix in 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour.
  3. Grease a baking pan with oil and dust with flour. Pour the mixtures evenly, starting with the brown, then the white, and sprinkle cocoa on top of the white layer, followed by the yellow mixture.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 100-150°C for about 30-35 minutes. Once baked, let it rest for 5 minutes, then invert onto a platter and dust with powdered sugar while warm.
